The author of this passage is clearly full of simple but profound wisdom of worship and the context of leading worship. There was very practical advice, (song choice, liturgy, what to wear, your physical posture, etc.) but the author also gave a lot of advice on how to worship from correct motives, correct relationship with God, pastors, worship team, and congregation; lots of applicable and challenging advice. I really liked the quote from Robert Murray McCheyne the auhtor referenced on page 115 saying, "A man is what he is on his knees before God, and nothing more." Something God has been teaching me about worship and leading worship is that there can be no pride when doing so. Leading worship from a place of humility and fear of the Lord, not a desire to be the best worship leader or trying to evoke this most feeling. It it more about presence than feeling. To bring in God's presence, to proclaim the Gospel, to encourage others in the Lord, to bring God honor and glory, to respond to God's calling, and to challenge the congregation and yourself to grow to be more like Christ are all reasons to worship.
